  • I have been coming to Jo for all my aesthetic needs since 2018 so this review is long overdue! But after having my PDO threads done I felt that I needed to review because I canโ€™t recommend them enough my face is tight and firm without looking โ€˜doneโ€™ and I have had many compliments from friends, family and work colleagues saying I look really well! Extremely glad I had them and looking forward to coming back to the salon for my Botox top up as itโ€™s such a lovely welcoming environment all the staff are friendly, I wouldn’t go anywhere else, and I canโ€™t recommend Jo enough.     Frequently Asked Questions

    Do dermal fillers hurt?

    Depending on your individual pain tolerance, and where youโ€™re using the filler, discomfort levels vary. We use a medical strength topical numbing agent to make all filler injections as comfortable as possible. Most people report little more than mild discomfort.

    How many 3D Lipo treatments do I need?

    The length and number of treatments will depend on what you decide with your clinician during your consultation. Upon your first visit, we will talk with you to put together a customized plan that will address your needs and get you the results you want. Generally, each treatment takes between 30 and 60 minutes, but the proper length of time is decided based on the number of areas being treated.

    How long does Microblading last?

    Microblading deposits hairlike strokes of cosmetic pigment into the skin, and is considered semi-permanent. Most people see results last about three years, when sticking to the recommended maintenance schedule.

    Are the treatments suitable for anyone?

    Treatments wouldn't be suitable if you were under the age of 18 years, or had a known allergy or sensitivity to particular products or their ingredients, including local anaesthetics. They also wouldn't be recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding women, or for those with skin infections near the areas requiring injection. If you're taking certain treatments which affect blood clotting, such as Aspirin, Warfarin, Clopidogrel or Omega-3 oils, you should contact me about the suitability of the treatments for you.

    Can I reschedule my appointment?

    You're able to reschedule an appointment if we are given 48 hours days' notice. If you're unable to give 48 hours notice, we unfortunately will not be able to reschedule your appointment and your booking fee will be lost or session from course will be lost.
